Our mobile veterinary services are the solution when getting to our clinic isn’t feasible.
There once was a time when the family doctor made house calls, but that practice has all but disappeared in modern times. What hasn’t been eliminated is mobile veterinary services – at least not as far as we’re concerned at Mooresville Animal Hospital. We understand that getting care for your pets in your home can often be the best idea and the solution to a variety of situations.
Our goal with our mobile veterinary services is to ensure that all pets in the Mooresville, North Carolina area get the vaccinations and other medical care they need when it isn’t feasible to bring them to our clinic. If you have a pet that cannot handle car rides or is too large to get into your vehicle, or if you have several pets that would take days of appointments to get taken care of, our mobile veterinary services are the ideal solution. We are also happy to accommodate pet owners with mobility issues or who are unable to come see us for other reasons.
Sadly, sometimes our mobile veterinary services are needed for end-of-life pet care. We understand wanting to have your family around in a calm and comfortable setting for your beloved pet’s last moments. It is the most peaceful situation for your pet and avoids the stress of having them moved to your vehicle and driven to our clinic.
We offer our mobile veterinary services for any home that is within 15 minutes of our clinic. Pet must be kept up (e.g. cats caught) prior to our arrival so that we can provide the necessary medical services and get back to our clinic to see other patients in a timely manner. There is an $85 house call fee added to whatever the cost is for the desired treatment. We make ourselves available for house calls on weekdays and one night a few times a month.
If you have any questions or would like to schedule mobile veterinary services, don’t hesitate to contact us.
